As described and worked with no issues. I marked the old distributor before pulling completely and matched the new one as close as possible when dropping it in.

This is a great replacement for the plastic distributor that comes factory.However, and don’t get me wrong. This is nothing bad about this distributor. I’m very pleased with it so far but I did have to slot The retainer so that I could slightly turn the distributor to get it to line up with number one.There are several forms online about this issue with aftermarket distributors, and I have ran into it personally in the past I know the ones that O’Reillys and AutoZone sale. You have to do this exact same thing and they’re made of plastic. Before I purchased this one, I went to the Chevrolet dealership to purchase one so that I didn’t have to mess with it the one they tried to sell me was a doorman brand, which is the exact same one. O’Reillys sells only three times the cost.
