This set comes with a bamboo spoon, a little bamboo measure, the bamboo whisk, and a stand to put the whisk on. They all feel very nice quality - I'm especially pleased with the little stand; it's sturdy, the glaze on it feels good and it doesn't have any chipping.I've been making matcha with it for a few weeks now, and I'm very impressed! The whisk sits on the stand well, and you can get a very good froth in the matcha powder using it. It isn't too heavy, the bristles aren't too brittle. It's a very nice little whisk, especially for a starter like myself!I'd really recomment this as a starter set - it has everything you need to start making matcha, at a really good price point!

If you're new to matcha and you want a higher class of match-making experience, this is a pretty nice little set. With a whisk, a spoon, a scoop and a stand for the whisk, this covers the basics and will have you whisking up your own matcha quickly.Basically, you use the scoop to add the equivalent of a quarter of a teaspoon of match powder to a cup or small bowl. Then you add warm water and use the whisk to, well, whisk it until you've got an even green liquid. This is your base. You then top it up with hot water (and perhaps other ingredients if you like) to make your finished cup, ready for drinking. With the items in this set, you've got everything to need to follow the process. There are plenty of matcha sets out there and this one is a bit better than the cheapest. The whisk is well-made with even bristles. The stand is really rather nice and you may well want to leave it out on your countertop as decoration. The scoop and the spoon are standard fare. So overall, this is a nicer set than most and would make a nice gift (the box even has English instructions on the side). There are of course better sets out there, but if you're just starting out, there's no need to pay a premium price until you have the need to.

This is a neat little set for lovers of matcha tea and I’ve bought it for when a matcha-loving relative comes to stay. The green colour is exactly as shown in the illustration and the whisk stand will keep the whisk in shape perfectly. There are two other items in the set: a spoon and a hockey-stick shaped scoop whose purpose I have yet to discover, both made from bamboo. It’s a shame it doesn’t come with a matcha bowl to drink from but as a starter kit for a fan, it’s not bad. There are no washing instructions so I assume it’s all hand-wash only.I haven’t tried it yet as I can’t stand any form of tea but I’ll edit this when my relative has tried it as passed judgement, if necessary.
