Blurry and no distance whatsoever. I have bought over 20 different NV this last year to try and this is the only one that is so bad I need to write a review. For the price an absolute joke. The others I have bought in this range have all been great. Even other of this mfr at same or close price point. It promises so much but delivers on none due to the basic vision portion.

These have exceeded my expectations. After the battery has gone dead after having them for more than 4 years, Milen "My", with customer support has been helpful in getting it setup with an RAM

I really want to like these, and admittedly there isn't much else at this price point. I've returned them and am now looking for something with better low light performance because there are newer sensors (like the Sony STARVIS 2) that put the sensor in these units to shame. The field of low light sensor technology is just moving too fast to buy these right now unless you have an immediate serious need (check out the Duovox Mate Pro for just what's coming out now). Also, out of the box several of the display functions (distance, compass) were not working. I did not do the software update because I had already decided to return them so I do not know if they are shipped with limited older software and the update adds those functions? I also do not appreciate a pair of binoculars where the active display resolution is only 720p and you have to look at a recording to get the full 1080p. Even more painful is the knowledge that the new sensors coming out support 4k with lower light performance. To plan ahead ATN needs to source some higher res displays for the eyepieces.

Das ATN Binox 4k 4-16X ist ein echt tolles Gerät. Selbst bei absoluter Dunkelheit bis 300m gute Sicht, man kann sogar in einer Palette die Nägel zählen, wenn man will ;-).Einen halben Punkt Abzug gibt es einerseits dafür, dass das User-Manual nur auf Englisch ist. Wer also nicht englisch kann, wird sich schwer tun, das Gerät zu verstehen und daran Freude zu haben. Aber auch mit guten Englischkennissen ist die Gestaltung des Manuals sehr unübersichtlich und dürftig ... vieles muss man mit Versuch und Irrtum erkundschaften.Ein zweiter halber Punkt wird wegen dem Case abgezogen. Bei einem derart hochwertigen Gerät erwartet man sich auch eine einigermaßen hochwertige Hülle. Sie hat aber ungefähr das Design eines zu klein geratenen Turnbeutels. Das Gerät wird darin bestenfalls vor Regen einigermaßen geschützt, es bietet aber absolut keinen Schutz vor mechanischen Einwirkungen, wie zB stößen.Aber man kauft das Ding ja nicht unbedingt wegen dem Case, will man da etwas ordentliches, muss man sich das bei einem Taschner machen lassen.

I've had these for a little over 2 weeks now and love them. don't be fooled by the display you are seeing when you look through them, the image and video quality is great. night vision is also outstanding. I was able to see two hogs coming out right at dark about 125 yards away that allowed me to get in a last minute shot/kill. the range finder seems to be very accurate so far as well. Playing back video and pictures on my phone and tablet is also really cool. Been using them at my son's football games and sharing video with the wife simultaneously. ATN Customer Service has been outstanding to me so far. I have had the pleasure of working with Oliver Vallero for technical/warranty questions on 2 or 3 occasions and could not ask for better service and communication. This is one of three ATN products I have and could not be happier. Just waiting on Lotto money or something so I can try out their thermal products.
