Der Deckel ist nicht gut verarbeitet und sitzt nicht richtig fest. Dadurch hat sich der Deckel bei der ersten Benutzung gelöst und das Glasgefäß ist natürlich heruntergefallen und komplett zersprungen.

Die Karaffe an sich ist toll. Der Deckel jedoch ist nicht geeignet. Man dreht ihn ganz schnell falsch drauf und das Glas rutscht einem schnell raus. Zudem ist das Plastik des Deckels nicht sehr dick und somit nicht gerade Vertrauens erweckend. Karaffe geht deswegen wieder zurück…

I already made my own cold brew in a hario mizudashi which i was really happy with but I wanted something that couple make a larger amount in one go as we tend to drink a lot more in the middle of summer and it's a pain to always be re-making it every day.this is a really nicely made brewer, the glass jug is thick glass and has an excellent capacity with a useful measuring gauge on the side. the lid attaches very solidly but can be a little tricky to get threaded for the first couple of turns but it can be done up nice and tight and feels secure when carrying by the handle when the jug is full. the entire jug fits easily into the large drawer in my fridge door where i would typically keep a 2l jug of milk.the internal cone for filtering the coffee is large and can easily hold enough ground coffee to make a strong batch of cold brew with a high ratio of coffee to liquid. it's very easy to clean and keeps grounds out of the final brew very well.i would advise grinding a little coarser as you can get some fines passing through the filter if it's too finely ground, it's nothing worse than a little sediment in the final few ml of the coffee but a coarser grind will also help avoid it.the coffee it produces is excellent and paired with a high quality roasted coffee will taste fantastic, despite being possibly the easy and fool proof methods of making coffee there is.at £16 it's very affordable and excellent value for money. it also has the added benefit of looking nice so you can happily put it out for guests when entertaining too.

Le filtre en acier inoxydable est vraiment bien pensé : très épais, il ne laisse passer aucun résidu de café, ce qui donne un café froid propre et sans dépôt – c’est clairement un point fort du produit.En revanche, le couvercle en plastique fait cheap. Il est difficile à visser correctement sur le pichet en verre, et si mal vissé, il risque de se détacher quand on verse, surtout que la poignée est fixée au couvercle… donc risque de casse réel. La fermeture n’est pas très intuitive ni rassurante.Autre point à savoir : il faut impérativement retirer le filtre central avant de servir, car sinon des grains peuvent passer par l’ouverture (le filtre est ouvert sur le dessus et pile sous le bec verseur).Un bon produit pour la filtration, mais des choix de conception à revoir sur le couvercle.
