Good for what I needed

Great measuring spoon for Matcha! One generously heaped spoon will give you 1.5g of powder, so remember this for your measurements. It's a simple but good-looking spoon that is easy to clean and well-made. It's not super expensive at all and is excellent value for money.

I have another one of the 2.5gram variety for loose leaf tea, and this one has the same outstanding build quality, only way for it to be better, would be if the whole spoon was drop forged

Nicely presented measuring spoon - the scoop has a nice shape to it, and if you're trying to get half-measures of macha the small volume of it is going to be appropriate.Most guidelines suggest 2g of macha per cup, which means two scoops with this spoon per serving. This is workable, but not ideal.Manufacturing looks nice, but the scoop is welded onto the handle rather than part of the casting. Not a major issue, as the welding seems of an appropriate quality - but does introduce a weakpoint. That weakpoint would require a fairly major accident to break it, so unlikely to be an issue with careful use.
