Delicate feeling but nonetheless pleasant cup to drink from. Double walled so does not convect much heat and keeps tea warmer for longer. Does maybe feel a bit fragile, especially if whisking Matcha in the cup, but otherwise a nice purchase.

I had ordered a clear glass matcha bowl before. It was way too small for whisk use, but after a continuous search, I found this one and it is great! Perfect size, price, fast-shipping, and manufacturing style for me to visually enjoy my matcha. The bowl doesn't get scalding hot, either-while enjoying my frothy goodness. I only wish the name stamp wasn't on it, and there is a slight imperfection on the bottom where it looks as if it was blown, but left the indentation from the device used to do it. However, it cannot be felt on the outside or inside of the bowl. These are the only reasons I gave it a four star rating, though, because I enjoy it otherwise.

I’m really happy with my purchase. Not only does the bright green matcha look extra-beautiful in these glass chawans, they’re practical too. It's easy to see what you're doing and whisk up the perfect matcha tea with no spillage (a problem I've had with small chawans).They feel light but robust. And they're dishwasher and microwave safe.Plus, the double-walled feature means the bowl is never too hot to touch, while keeping the tea warmer for longer (it has an insulating effect).Apparently, studies have shown that well presented food tastes better -- and in this bowl the matcha certainly tastes every bit as good as it looks!Ideal for my matcha habit.One of these would make a really nice gift too.Highly recommended!
