Powers an Arduino Uno no problem. There's mounting holes on the bottom for fixing the battery in place.

The product is made of very brittle plastic and is too small to hold a 9V battery, especially given the price, this should be of a much better quality. The retaining clip broke the first time I used it, when trying to put the battery in. This product seems to have good reviews, surprisingly, but the one I received would need to be considerably larger, or made of a much more flexible material to not break upon attempting to insert a battery. If you do buy one, be sure to check it out instantly in case you need to send it back, don't wait as I did, and throw your money down the drain.
