I order this on the 26 jan 2024 and it has stopped working.They tell me I can not RETURN .it cost me over 500 pounds. this is absolutely dreadful.to spend thatamount of money on something to only work for three months. So I phone Amazon again they said they would email the company and the company will get back to me. and yes, the company emailed me within 24 hours and they were so helpful. They sent me out a new box. so it was worth getting in contact with Amazon again. and the seller was brilliant And I certainly recommend the box

Seemed like a good device; then I discovered that the hard drive would not work, reporting a flaw and constantly asking me to format the drive. Nothing, even a factory reset worked, so it had to go back. Pity, as the software seemed good.

I like the recording quality and the operation, EXCEPT.....This is my second Humax in 4 years. It is still slow to start up and this one still shows red light when it is off AND when it is on. Sometimes it has a blue light. Both lights are small and dull. Why not a CLEAR RED light off and a GREEN (or blue if you insist for ON) ?? Still have not sorted the new one. The old one used to switch on the TV when the Humax started but this one does not. I emailed Humax the question but no reply as yet.

I HAVE HAD HUMAX BEFORE AND THEY HAVE LASTED FOR YEARS AND HAD NO PROBLEMS WITH THEM .HOPEFULLY THIS NEW MODEL IS THE SAME

I did practically everything, as I followed what I remebered.Thank you for sending me a copy of the user's manual. I should now be ok.The problem I have after setting everything out is teh following: When I switch the TV on, I get a message "HDD has not been formatted properly. Press OK to go to storage..." . Then, when I press OK, it start formatting, but it does not do anything, i.e. it gets stuck there. I do not remeber having this problem with my previous HUMAX.
