These are a fun way to hang up your keys, and the mechanism seems to work fairly well. Since they're backed with adhesive you can hang them up on a pegboard, a painted wall, or a piece of furniture quite easily although if you have kids I'd make sure you decide with them where your teenager gets to put their key hook.There are also gourd shaped cut outs in the back of the owl so you can put two screws into the wall, and then place this over the heads, and the owl will drop down into the slot and stay there. You can't remove the back plate, screw that to the wall and attach the rest of the owl to it. They don't supply screws but the option is there if you prefer it to the adhesive which is good - I'm fine with not having screws as that's just a waste of metal if you don't need them.

6 little owl key holders.2 are white, 2 black and 2 brownI absolutely love these.You can stick them on smooth things and they hold tight.I put one on the mirror by the front door .You get a key ring for each owl and once your keys are on it, push the ring up into the owls feet area.He will pop his eyes open.When you take them off, the eyes close .Its magnetic so it holds the ringGreat fun.Sometimes you need to push the eyes open with your finger before it will work if you get the angle of the ring wrong.These are a good way to remember to hang up your keys when you come in.I really like that these owls are different as you can then say the car key is in white owl by the door or i put your front door key on the black owl.I think harry potter fans would like these or bird lovers.We are both so they very much appeal to us.All have 2 keyholes in the back to allow them to be sat onto two screw heads if you want them where they wont stick.
