Mozart: Laudate Dominum: Vesperae solennes de confessore in C Major, K. 339 V. Laudate Dominum omnes gentes for Piano (Sheet Music)

Nice arrangement of Mozart’s Laudate Dominum from the Solemn Vespers. I’ve always loved this piece, and hope to be able to use this arrangement for a church prelude or offertory.4/5 stars because the piece, which is only 3 pages front and back, comes bound with 11 pages of very small print blank staff paper! To make things worse, it’s glued together with a very thick card stock binding that prevented the piece from staying open, and also made page turns difficult. I ended up taking the book apart, and putting the piece in a 3-ring binder. Guess I’ll pass the staff paper along to someone who can use it. What a waste of paper! I’m sure that’s what made the piece so expensive.

Das Heft enthält fünf mit Noten bedruckte Seiten, gefolgt von 20 leeren Notenblättern. Dies lässt auf ein mangelndes Verständnis für Nachhaltigkeit schließen. Weitaus gravierender ist jedoch die Tatsache, dass die Noten so breit gedruckt sind, dass die letzten Noten jeder Zeile in der Bindung verschwinden und unleserlich werden. Selbst ein starkes Aufbiegen des Heftes löst dieses Problem nicht. Letztlich bleibt das Heft nicht geöffnet liegen. Würde ich sicher nicht mehr kaufen.
