I bought this fan based on other reviews saying it was quite and for the water durability. Placed it in my enclosed grow cabinet, but you can definitely hear it when it comes up. Others used it for campers and other places where it might not be as noticeable. I am still keeping it and plan to use it in the cabinet.

Der original Lüfter wurde zu laut.Also musste ein neuer her.Dieser hat die notwendige Luftleistung und lässt sich mit einem Regler auch wunderbar einstellen.Auf max. Leistung ist er auch nicht leise, aber durch die Regelung passt das.Somit gibt es genügend Reserven für sehr heiße Tage.

I had this hooked up to a home made humidifier and it died within a week. It started grinding loudly right before it seized up, I'm guessing the bearings rusted.Update 8/03: I bought a second fan and have been running it in the same fog system, but raised it up 3 inches from the water this time. It has outlasted the previous fan so far, and isn't making any noise at all running 24/7.
